To Teach or Not to Teach

Prompt: Human Rights v. Majority Rule

Everyone has their views on people being gay, but kids learn from everybody. Even though morally it's wrong and just nasty.

Morally

According to the bible and church; we are only suppose to be interesting in the opposite sex. they say when he made humans he made Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve. But with that being said, he also said not to be judgemental.

Socially

Having a gay relationship shouldn't stop your life. I know plenty of gay teachers and they have more passion for teaching then most straight teachers. Gay or not, your kids are going to learn. Kids learn from bus drivers store clerks, librarians, actors, neighbors, parents and family members. All those people could be gay and you decided not to let your kids be around them. As long as they have the qualifications and meet the criteria let them teach. Gay people are humans, also. They went to school got their education and studied hard to get to the point of their life. (to teach) Having a gay relationship shouldn't matter if they are allowing gays to adapt your children. You learn more at home than you do from school. Just trying to get you to thinking. So why discriminate because of their personal life. Now if we did that we would have to say no to the teachers who drink and smoke; those things are also wrong.

Political

The best way to say is a lie. You will never know a politician's true thoughts on the subject. To them that is a way to get more popularity. A politician tell you things you want to hear. Their views on gays teaching will be different depending on whether or not of its election year. A politician's personal life is different from his job. Trust, because if he had a family member that taught school and was gay, he wouldn't want them to house them job.

Just because a man or woman is gay doesn't mean they are not a good teacher. There are gay people everywhere. Some of them can have a good impression on kids.
